A flipped classroom is essentially an unorthodox teaching method that involves learning outside of class. This allows the student to utilize classroom time to have more hands-on approach with the material while in the classroom. Essentially, you are learning the lessons outside of class and using classroom time to collaborate and handle the material with a more dedicated learning environment. A solid example of this is doing homework in class.
Open educational resources are exactly what they sound like. These text based, freely accessible learning materials are very useful in the classroom. These resources can be utilized to gather text-based information to further your education. A solid example of this is jstor.org, which is an open library of journals, primary sources and books. https://www.jstor.org/
Working on my powerpoint assignments taught me a good deal of information. I learned how to hyperlink to other slides by disabling the linear format. I liked being able to learn new information and apply it towards something I had never done before. I disliked having to follow specific guidelines within the powerpoint.
